Community Advisory Committee Role:

The primary role of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is to provide the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering with community input, representation and feedback for the 6th St Viaduct Seismic Improvement Project. CAC members are currently and will continue to provide valuable input on important decisions regarding the appropriate scope of the project, its objectives, and its design alternatives.

The contributions of CAC are:

  1. Interfacing with the 6th St Viaduct Seismic Improvement project development team.
  2. Providing liaison with their community and industry stakeholders on project details and progress.
  3. Responding to specific requests from the project development team for information and feedback on the 6th St Viaduct Seismic Improvement Project.
  4. Attending monthly CAC meetings.

The Bureau of Engineering strongly supports the role of the CAC and values the involvement and commitment of each of its members to obtain valuable input from residents, business owners, and local officials on matters relevant to the 6th St. Viaduct Seismic Improvement Project.
